Terms and Conditions for Motivational Talks and Workshops

Effective Date: August 13, 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of motivational talks and workshops (the "Services") by Leah Crowfoot Consulting Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") to you ("the Client"). By booking our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1. Booking: A booking for Services is confirmed upon our receipt of a signed agreement or written confirmation from the Client.

1.2. Fees: The fee for the Services will be as agreed in the proposal or booking confirmation.

1.3. Payment: A deposit of 50% of the total fee is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the scheduled date of the Services. Payments can be made via bank transfer.

1.4. Late Payment: We reserve the right to charge a late payment fee and/or suspend Services if payment is not received by the due date.

2. Cancellation and Refunds

2.1. Cancellation by Client: The 50% deposit is non-refundable. If the Client cancels the booking, the following cancellation fees will apply:

  • 30 days or more before the event: The 50% deposit will be forfeited, and no further payment is required.

  • Less than 30 days before the event: 100% of the total fee will be due.

  • 2.2. Cancellation by Leah Crowfoot Consulting Ltd: In the unlikely event that we need to cancel, we will provide the Client with a full refund of all fees paid. We are not liable for any other costs or damages incurred by the Client as a result of the cancellation.

3. Client's Responsibilities

3.1. The Client agrees to provide all necessary information, cooperation, and assistance to enable us to deliver the Services effectively.

3.2. The Client is responsible for ensuring the venue and any required equipment are suitable for the delivery of the Services.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1. All intellectual property rights in the content of the talks, workshops, and any materials provided (e.g., handouts, slides) remain the sole and exclusive property of Leah Crowfoot Consulting Ltd.

4.2. The Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use these materials solely for the purpose of the talk or workshop for which they were provided. Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for any other purpose without our express written consent.

5. Confidentiality

5.1. Both parties agree to keep all confidential information received from the other party in strict confidence and not to disclose it to any third party without prior written consent, except where required by law.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1. Our liability for any claim arising from our Services is limited to the fees paid by the Client for the specific Services. 6.2. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, or reputational damage.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

7.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

7.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
